Colonial Heights Baptist Church

Angela Toney serves as Children's Ministry Associate.  She was born and raised in Virginia.  Angela married her high school sweetheart, Jimmy, in 1997.  They have been blessed with one son, Gavin.  Angela has been in ministry for 16 years.  She was a vocalist for the Southern Gospel Group "Arise" for 7 years where they traveled the east coast and to Europe in partnership with the International Mission Board promoting missions.  Angela has served in various ministries within the church prior to surrendering to the call of full time Children's  Ministry in March of 2010 . Angela feels it is her calling to encourage and teach children how to worship and praise the Lord through song.  She  considers it is such a blessing to hear and see children worship the Lord with all their heart, might, and soul.  She enjoys singing, playing the piano, song writing, and spending time with her family.
